About The Church
The village of Bembridge is situated at the eastern tip of the Isle of Wight. It is home to about 5,000 people, making it one of the largest villages in Europe. It has a sizable natural harbour used for both fishing and yachting. After World War II, Bembridge expanded and the number of holiday visitors increased. To meet these needs, St. Michael's church was opened in 1965, built in the contemporary 60s style. Our congregation expands during holiday times, especially as we have Warner's Holiday Hotel in the village. We are pleased to welcome all visitors to our lovely island.
